How do I pair with someone?

One of you taps Adopt an egg, picks an egg and a name, and gets an invite code. The other taps I have an invite code and enters it. A pair is exactly two people; a code works once and lasts a day.

How does the streak work?

Each day, both of you do your half of the care. When you both do, the streak goes up. A streak freeze can cover a missed day.

My pal went on a trip. Is it gone?

No. If your pal is left alone too long it sulks, and after that it heads off on a trip. When you've both called it home it comes back, and it never loses a growth stage. You can't buy it back, and you never need to.

A letter or doodle disappeared.

Messages wait in your pal's satchel for up to 36 hours. If they aren't picked up by then, the pal eats them (it's a pal). Delivered mail is kept on each phone.

I forgot my password.

Email us from the app's Report a problem link with your username, and we'll help you get back in.

How do I leave a pair or delete my account?

Settings › Leave pair removes you from the pair; your partner keeps the pal. Settings › Delete account… permanently deletes your account and data. See the privacy policy for details.
